We left our winter campground in Comfort, TX and we're on our way to Sweetwater, TX aka the place where they have the rattlesnake round up (we won't be seeing that). The wildflowers along the way are just breathtaking. Brandi is also really excited about the flowers.

That bridge was the only one we saw on the backroads. Pasquale decided to stop and pick me some flowers for our table inside the camper. Windmills, hundreds of them. Wonder who is getting all that electricity.

We're the only ones here -- lucky us.

Our son-in-law, Joe, told Pasquale that you can do any work without a beer in your hand. So he's following the doctors orders ;-)

Our view from inside the camper. It's cold and windy here.

We got a few new things for the camper and truck. The topper is such a great addition. It gives us more room for storage and we can always sleep back there if we go exploring without the camper.

We took the table and benches out and replaced it with a new table and chairs. And we added some new rugs and a new quilt.

We got our day fishing license for tomorrow and some night crawlers and corn meal to catch some fish. Should be fun. First time fishing on the trip.

Fishing update: We didn't go. It was cold, windy and rainy. There will be plenty of other opportunities.

Our sunsets are stunning here. I have a feeling that's going to be pretty common as we're headed out west. Those big birds are vultures -- big and ugly eating leftover fish parts. Circle of life.

And we're on the road again to Clovis, NM.
